I am assuming Canna is the location of this sighting, a small town on the Mullewa-Wubin road, east of Geraldton. This seems to be a letter to the editor maybe? Thursday 8 March 1951.

A historical sighting from an article in the ACOS Bulletin of March 1977 regarding Close Encounters of the Second Kind (CE II)

This encounter was also referenced in the Australian Annual Flying Saucer Review – 1983.

This encounter was also referenced in ACUFOS Journal, May/June 1981. I wasn’t able to find the corresponding reference (17) though, or the one in the journal is wrong.
